Novick born in Russia moved fron New York to Chicago in 1907 and set up shop two years later. With his wife Tillie it prospered for nearly half a century until his death in 1957. Novick created pieces that can be hard to distinguish from those made by Kalo. Many of the large Kalo sterling trays were made by Novick.
